  1. One summer, the family was picking raspberries to sell.
    It was around 10:00 p.m.
We were all asleep or falling there. An F3 was at the end of the thunderstorm. It started rumbling. Mind you,I was laying on the floor as it was cooler. The tornado ripped the screen door off and the roof of the big barn, then the corn crib and a big slab of concrete, but not us!

  2. glad to see i am not the only one who thinks Chicago is pure hell on Earth. Thank god i don't live there and my one visit was enough after getting robbed at gunpoint in the middle of the day in the middle of the street.

  3. Im from the west Chicago suburbs and im so glad im still in indiana right now for college. my friend was saying how she ran during the tornado warning and got poured on 😂 im coming home and visiting this weekend for Memorial Day weekend but it’s crazy how many warnings us Chicagoeans get

  4. Reed, do you think northeast Tennessee is likely to have severe storms tomorrow and/or Friday? Thank you for watching out for us when bad storms are developing!👍⛈🌪

  5. Thank You So Much Reed. It's Good to know You are Keeping Watch on these Storms for Us. We Appreciate You. God Bless You and Many Thanks. ☺

  6. Evanston and/or Wilmette sounded their sirens twice early on, I was very impressed. It happened right after the initial alert came out, and after the storm intensified around Des Plaines. Not gonna lie, I was being a “Midwest dad” in northern evanston, watching the beautiful storm go past backlit by the sun.

  7. Funny story. I was working on a farm in Lake Forest (part of the initial warning) this morning and the sirens went off randomly. My coworker is terrified of storms and was like “ITS NOT THE FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.” Turns out they were testing it in case of weather later in the day
